Connected, we form something eternal.

Circle of Life 9 transforms the human form into a powerful symbol of unity and continuity. Dark bronze figures join together to create a stunning wheel of humanity—at the base, figures stand hand in hand in an unbroken line, while above them, bodies radiate outward like the spokes of an eternal wheel, limbs intertwining in a circle that has no beginning and no end.

This sculpture captures the essence of interconnection. Each figure is distinct, yet none stands alone. They form both the circumference and the center, the movement and the stillness. It's a meditation on how individual lives weave together into the grand tapestry of human existence.

Tolla Inbar's design creates a mesmerizing geometric pattern that draws the eye around and around, mirroring the cycles that define our lives—birth and death, seasons and generations, giving and receiving. The dark patina adds weight and permanence to this profound statement about what it means to be part of something greater.

Circle of Life 9

Know the size before you commit

These run from 75cm to over three and a half metres. Send us your ceiling height and the wall or floor you have in mind and we'll tell you whether it works — or tell you it doesn't.

Cast to order, 1–4 months

Each piece is made at the foundry once you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse. That's the reason for the wait and the reason it's yours.

Freight quoted per piece

A monumental bronze is crated and shipped on a pallet, not couriered. We quote your address and access before you pay — no estimate that turns into a surprise.

Circle of Life 9

Cast bronze

Lost-wax bronze, cast and finished at the foundry after you order — dark patina against warm, gilded rope, sometimes verdigris. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting.

Read from across the room

Her work resolves at distance before it resolves up close, which is why it holds an entry, an atrium or a stairwell rather than sitting on a shelf.

Scale is the subject

The same composition exists at several heights, from under a metre to over three and a half. Tell us the room and we'll tell you which one belongs in it.

Circle of Life 9

Catalogued, not decorated.

Tolla Inbar is held in the international library and authority records that track artists of record — VIAF, ISNI, the Library of Congress — and her work stands in private and corporate collections worldwide. This is not hotel-lobby bronze bought by the container. It is one sculptor's work, cast one piece at a time, from a gallery that has dealt in sculpture since 1976 — and in all that time we have not found a way to photograph what one of hers does to a room.

Questions people ask before they buy

Can I return it if it doesn't work in the room?

No. Tolla Inbar sculptures are excluded from our return policy — once it's cast and crated, it's yours. We say that up front because it changes what we owe you beforehand: photographs from any angle you want, full dimensions and weight, video of the piece, and a person on the phone who has stood next to one. Take all of it before you decide. If something arrives damaged, or the wrong piece arrives, or it never arrives at all, that's ours to fix — we replace or refund it.

How big is it really?

The size on the page is the sculpture's height in centimetres. At 240cm you are buying something taller than a door; at 100cm it reads on a plinth or a wide console. Before you order, put painter's tape on the floor at the footprint and a mark on the wall at the height. Almost everyone is surprised in one direction or the other.

Interior door · 203 cm
Average adult · 170 cm
Is it as impressive in person?

More. We have never watched someone stand in front of one of hers for the first time and keep talking. Scale does something a photograph physically cannot, because a photograph has no room around it — which is exactly why we push you toward video, weight and dimensions before you buy rather than after. The piece will exceed the picture. It still has to fit through the door.

Where does it need to stand?

Most of these are vertical, narrow-footprint pieces that want to be seen from all sides and from a distance — an entry, a stairwell, a double-height room, a garden line of sight. Tell us the room and we'll tell you which of her pieces is the right size for it, including if the answer is a smaller one than the one you're looking at.

Indoors or outdoors?

Bronze lives outdoors — it's what monuments are made of. But the patina is a finish, and weather, salt air and sprinklers will move it over time. Tell us your climate and where it would stand, and we'll tell you what to expect and how it's maintained.

How long, and what happens in between?

One to four months. It's cast, finished and patinated at the foundry after you order. We'll tell you where it is when you ask.

How does something this size actually get to me?

Crated and freighted, quoted for your address — including whether a truck can reach you and whether you need help getting it off the pallet and into position. Ask before you order, not after.

Is it really the last one?

When a page says one remaining, it is one remaining — 13 of her works are down to their last piece and 72 size variants are already gone. We don't manufacture urgency; the numbers on the page are the numbers in our inventory.

Can I pay over time?

Shop Pay Installments covers purchases up to $30,000, as a 3, 6 or 12-month plan at 15% APR. Above $30,000 it isn't available at checkout — call (808) 283-5000 and we'll work it out directly.

The Artist

Tolla Inbar

Tolla Inbar is an Israeli sculptor, born in Germany in 1958, who has spent her career on one question: the distance between a person and whatever they are climbing toward. Her figures are stretched almost to line — anatomy given up in exchange for the feeling of the gesture — and they are almost never alone. One reaches; another holds the rope.
